The contact's fiancée owns a 2023 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the rear tires showed severe inner wear and damage due to a misalignment, requiring three sets of rear tires to be replaced within a year. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who notified the manufacturer of the failure; however, the technical engineer denied assistance. The dealer informed the contact that the lower control arms needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the tire repair kit bottle cap detached while inflating a tire. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V366000 (Tires); which was associated with the tire repair kit failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

I am writing to file a complaint regarding a serious issue with my Honda vehicle involving the turbocharger system. The turbocharger appears to be failing, causing a significant reduction in vehicle speed and performance while driving. During operation, the vehicle suddenly loses power and acceleration, making it difficult and potentially unsafe to maintain normal traffic speeds. At the same time, multiple warning lights illuminate on the dashboard, indicating possible engine and system malfunctions. This issue creates a serious safety concern for both myself and other drivers, as the vehicle may unexpectedly slow down while traveling on highways or busy roadways. The condition has negatively impacted the reliability and dependability of my vehicle. I am requesting that Honda investigate this matter promptly and provide assistance in diagnosing and correcting the issue. If this problem is related to a known defect, recall, service bulletin, or warranty extension, I would appreciate being informed immediately.

Reporting severe dealer negligence and physical structural damage during secondary repairs for Federal Safety Recall 20V-769 / Campaign W9F at Darcars Honda (Fairfax, VA). The technician severely violated Honda TSB 20-125 protocols, physically mushrooming the steel on the left lower control arm (LCA) boss. This blunt-force mechanical damage compromises the structural integrity of the suspension and creates a high probability of out-of-spec ovality in the steering knuckle/mating bore, creating an ongoing dynamic safety hazard. Please see the attached formal documentation and photographic evidence for full details.

When Tpms light comes on, all safety features including cruise control become disabled. Lane assist and collision safety features become disabled. On top of that, I have had Honda look at my rear end after they replaced a rear upper control arm after being in a ditch and at 246,000 current miles, I have replaced my tires 16 times due to the rear tires ripping the tread off between 10-15k. If there was nothing else wrong, why have I spent between $10,000-$15,000 miles on tires? I have had numerous alignments at Honda and elsewhere. Marion Honda claims it’s normal! I was told I can put adjustable control arms on. I have met other Honda accord sport 1.5t owners with 50k miles on one set of tires, yet I can’t get more than 15k on the rear tires. Clearly something is bent or incorrect currently I am re replacing the upper control arm.. They say the alignment rack does not flag anything. I have bought between Goodyear, Michelin, and Pirelli tires they also replaced a turbo, only for a few months later to have a pressure problem that Findlay Honda found I was missing an oring in the turbo or intercooler. How? Orings do not call out. Fast forward 18 months and another bad turbo on this lemon!

Around 20,000 miles my car began having faint metallic clanking/clicking sounds turning left and recoiling back to the left under 15 miles an hour and while parked. My lane mitigation, see dealer light turned on for 5 minutes while backing in to a spot then turned off. No issues steering just noise. Glad I am not deaf and I know better because it was a very easy and quiet noise to ignore or miss. My steering is fine now but does not steer as thin and smoothly as before— not like any Honda steering I’ve encountered or when I first bough the car. Feels more stiff now but very drivable on the highway Although repaired under warranty, there are hundreds of Facebook, Reddit, and even NHSTA complaints of steering rack issues for 11th gen accords that have fallen on deaf ears. I am fortunate to have my problem fixed in a relatively quick manner and helpful Honda staff. I am concerned because I hear people complaining this problem coming back after 4-10k miles later. This is a major safety issue in the principle of it all. It is ridiculous that Type Rs and Acuras can get recalled steering racks but not Accord hybrid owners, some waiting 0-5 years for a steering rack recall while owners having to change them out like clockwork on their own dime outside of 36/36k. This is costing people money in tire degradation that Honda doesn't cover, mental stress, and it tarnishes the name of Honda if they don’t actively work to fix their mistake. NHTSA should have a duty to put pressure on Honda to stop producing Accords, Pilots, Type Rs, Acuras, Odysseys, etc with steering racks that don't work. Email me if you want service records, its not letting me load them. Steering rack and gear replaced recheck fine. Clock reel was making noise, cable reel was replaced and no more noise. Front tires are at 4/32nds, backs are at 6/32nds— bought at same time with car. 4 wheel total alignment was done. I have video of the clicking sound.

On 11/19/2025, while operating my 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid, I experienced a sudden and total loss of power while the vehicle was in motion. Despite pressing the accelerator, the vehicle failed to respond. I noticed the 'READY' indicator disappeared on the dashboard, signifying a powertrain system shutdown. This caused me to lose control of the vehicle's speed and positioning, resulting in a collision. I believe this incident is a direct result of the defective Integrated Control Module (ICM) software identified in NHTSA Recall 25V-785 (Manufacturer Recall TN2), which causes the CPU to reset and cut drive power during operation.

My vehicle was taken to Matt Burne Honda on at [XXX] for recall work on driveshafts since I got my vehicle back I have been having issue after issue. My vehicle was in there twice. He diagnosed the issue as a speed sensor from sitting in my passenger seat never even took on highway to see what the problem really was. My car has been unsafe for the road since I got it back. Brand new tires are now destroyed my car has a horrible death wobble. The steering system produces a creaking noise while turning the steering wheel, most noticeable at low speeds and during parking maneuvers. The condition appears intermittently and is typically heard when the steering wheel approaches certain turning angles. Noise is more prominent during slow-speed operation where steering load is increased.

I brought my 2014 Honda Accord to Honda of Westport (authorized dealer) to complete the active driveshaft safety recall. The dealer informed me the recall COULD NOT be performed unless I first paid $708.31 out of pocket to replace both front ball joints. I was given no choice - pay or leave with the recall unresolved. No vehicle owner should face a financial barrier to completing a federally mandated safety recall

Rear camber is set way to aggressive and wearing out the inside of tires VERY QUICKLY!! According to 2 different shops they have adjusted the camber as far as the factory part will allow with the only option is to buy a aftermarket camber arm to get more adjustment. I am on my 3rd set of tires with only 57000 miles. I went father then i should have on replacing the worn (inside of tire past the metal wire) without knowing it was that bad. Could have had a very serios blowout on rear. Dealer ship said none of this would be covered under warranty!! the wear started form the get go and might can get the 1st alignment information from the shop that performed the alignment. Other individuals I know they have accords and civics in the 23 and newer are having simular issues!! Pics in file are both rear tires that had been rotated 3 times in aprox 20k and alignment checked.

After pulling my car in forward, my front cv axel was broke off and I had to have my car towed in to be fixed. The issue is consistent with a similar issue reported on [XXX] After reading through this, I need to know if I am at risk of further vehicle trouble now that my axel is repaired and if this is a recalled issue for my Honda Accord, then I want to ensure others can get this information right away. NHTSA complaint #11708353 — an unverified report by a vehicle owner.
The vehicle's suspension is excessively stiff and harsh since new, transmitting all road imperfections, bumps, and irregularities directly to the driver and passengers, causing discomfort and fatigue. Additionally, there is abnormal noise (clunking/rattling/creaking/popping) from the steering rack area, especially when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, over bumps, or when stationary. The suspension components and steering rack assembly are available for inspection upon request. This condition affects safety by causing driver fatigue, reduced comfort/control on uneven roads, and potential distraction from steering noise indicating a possible developing failure in the steering system. The problems have been inspected and repair attempted by authorized Honda dealers on multiple occasions, but the issues persist and have not been resolved. The vehicle or component has been inspected by dealer service centers.

Steering rack is starting to creak non stop, it began around 4k miles, the car currently has 5,350 miles. Brought car to Lia Honda, Northampton, Ma. They tightened up all front suspension bolts but this did nothing and told me "drive the car more to see if the noise goes away" However after spending 5 mins researching on the internet I came across a plethora of 11th gen accord owners complaining about this specific noise and even multiple video recordings of it. From what I gather there is a defective worm gear and spring tension or something along these lines with numerous owners having their entire steering rack replaced under warranty. However many of those who's steering rack was replaced began to hear this ever present, constant creaking noise all the time and I do mean all of the time. a Perplexity AI, Chatgpt, or Google AI leads to an alarming amount of owners having to deal with this issue. So currently my purchased brand new in may of 2024 honda accord with 5.3K odd miles on it is creaking non stop at all times other than driving straight on the highway. It is incredible to me at least that honda has not issued a recall as they did with the civics and crvs with essentially the same problem. Thank you for your time.

Car swerved to the left unexpectedly causing it to do a 180 degree turn and impact the drivers side. Side airbags deployed and emergency response was initiated. Prior to the swerve in question, the car had experienced about 6 smaller swerves that we attributed initially to a wind gust. All of the swerves felt like a strong wind was hitting the drivers side rear quarter area. The Estimate of repair for the insurance company indicates damage to Left Lower Control Arm, Left Trailing Arm, and Left Upper Control Arm.

Hi, I think that this vehicle is major safety issue for both me and others, since bought new it tends to pull to the right , hard to steer or keep it in lane straight without wondering away! Pre mature Tire wear and tear vehicle inspected by different Honda dealerships multiple times with multiple alignments correction done and parts replaced under warranty to it with no remedy or resolution, filed case with Honda manufacture with no resolution as well! I took today for second opinion at Firestone I was told that vehicle can’t be aligned! due to right wheel caster is advanced or off by 0.6 inch which points to: 1 suspension issue ( got inspected multiple times) 2 subframe problems or frame damage due to manufacturing problems or geometry ratios defect I really don’t know what to do! Filled complain with you guys earlier …never heard back attached is Repair inspection from today and multiple alignments attempted by dealership on 10/2 10/29 and last 11/9 Parts was replaced at dealer 1 Rack and pinion component. 2 steering cable reel.

My wheels and steering column makes an extremely loud clacking, squeaking noise when turning left or right almost like my shocks, cv axle or suspension is damaged. The dealer service center can not locate the problem. The infotainment systems does not connect via Bluetooth or usb making it impossible to be hand’s free or access any maps or apps. The dealers service center attempted repair but it did not fix the problem.

-The front subframe on the passenger side completely rusted through and broke. The driver side is perfectly fine and still has factory paint on it, but the passenger side is completely rusted out. Yes the vehicle and issue are available for inspection. -The front subframe is the frame component that holds and supports your front suspension, steering, engine and transmission. With the failure of the subframe the front passenger side of the car dropped down and the steering and suspension were compromised. Very unsafe for the driver and passengers to lose control of the vehicle. Loss of control is also very dangerous for others on the road. -The problem is very prominent for this year and model of car. It is an engineering flaw from the factory for years 1998-2002. The air conditioning evaporator drain hose is routed right onto the passenger side sub frame. The moisture from the drain is what accelerates the rust. The car only has 55,000 miles on it and it has failed this soon. -The car has been inspected by a shop previously and the shop welded a new support piece to “patch” the frame to make back home. -There were no symptoms, there was just a loud clunk on the front end and it dropped down.
