The light component above the dash completely just fell out while i was on the highway, hanging by wires and obscuring my vision. Also there is a Bluetooth audio issue where no one can hear me when my phone is connected via Bluetooth or wired.

Head lamp on Driver side collect moisture (condensation) for no apparent reason. This vehicle was inspected at a local Nissan Dealership on 4/13/26. No exterior or interior damage noted. The moisture in the lamp causes the light from the lamp to be dim. Notice that the passenger head lamp is much brighter. I don't drive at night ....not sure if the on coming traffic can tell that I am driving a SUV.

I am writing to formally document my experience with the service performed at Nissan Heights following a recall repair on my vehicle. My vehicle was brought to Nissan Heights on Monday, March 2, for recall service related to NHTSA Recall #22V-024 (Nissan Recall #R21B9) involving the wiring harness. I dropped off the vehicle early that morning with the expectation that the recall work would be completed properly and that the vehicle would be returned in good working condition. After the recall inspection and service process, I was informed that additional components needed to be replaced the Engine Control Module (ECM), and the Body Control Module (BCM). The cost of replacing these components was several thousand dollars. Based on the nature of the recall and the research I conducted regarding this issue, these failures appear to be directly related to the wiring harness recall. However, Nissan Heights informed me that these repairs were my responsibility. In order to retrieve my vehicle, I proceeded with the repairs and paid the required amount after 8 days. When I picked up my vehicle, I later discovered that certain parts had not been properly reassembled before the car was returned to me. I did not immediately notice this until I was already driving home. Because I had to go to work, I was unable to return to the dealership right away and had to make an additional trip back to Nissan Heights so that the issue could be corrected. More concerning, after further inspection of the vehicle, I discovered that a significant amount of what appears to be an acidic grease or liquid substance had been spilled over the exterior of my vehicle. This substance was present on the roof, sides, and doors of the car and appears to have caused damage to the paint. This damage was not present prior to leaving the vehicle at the dealership. The most likely explanation is that the substance came from another vehicle positioned above mine while it was stored or servic

When activating the right turn signal the windshield washers and wipers will turn on. Washers, wipers, and the turn signal all turn off when the turn signal is deactivated. This can cause some unexpected visibility issues while turning. Also, when turning the headlights from "Auto" to the "Off" position the windshield wipers will turn on. The wipers will stay on until you Switch back to "Auto". These problems are repeatable. I plan to contact the Nissan Dealer to see how much a multifunction switch replacement would cost.

While driving at approximately 15–20 mph, my vehicle suddenly started beeping and displayed a quick warning message on the dashboard before the brakes locked up on their own. The incident lasted only a few seconds, but it was extremely alarming. This same issue has now happened twice, both times in the exact same location on the same road, driving at about the same speed. The first incident was roughly around [XXX], the second incident was [XXX]. On both occasions, I had my [XXX] twin daughters in the car with me, and it frightened all of us. Thankfully, there were no vehicles directly behind me either time, otherwise it could have resulted in a rear-end collision. I believe there were cars ahead of me, but they were far enough away that I don’t think they triggered the sensors. Both times it was sunny, dry weather, and the road conditions were normal—no rain, no slick surfaces, and no obstacles in front of me. I am not sure if sunlight could have affected a sensor, but it appears to be related to the vehicle’s automatic emergency braking system or another electronic braking malfunction. The problem has not yet been inspected or confirmed by a dealer, but I plan to have it checked as soon as possible. On [XXX] I was at a stoplight with my children and when it turned green I went to proceed and then I was moving slowly and it wasn't letting me go any specific speed and died in the middle of the road on a busy intersection at that leaving my children and I at risk of being potentially hit by another car, and it was in the evening time something could have happened to us Ladies as I have a [XXX] and a [XXX] and I'm a [XXX]. Mind you my battery was brand new so there was no indications on my dashboard giving me any sign of warnings nor was my Nissan rogue driving any different as I've kept up with maintenance and oil changes all of the above. So not only did I have to get out and push my Nissan rogue out of the road my [XXX] had to steer and I about got ran over and that's jeopardized in my life and then my kids wouldn't have had a mother thank God people jumped off their bicycles to help me. Then people the gas station tried to jump me but they're jumper cables and they said your battery is completely dead and I said that's not possible because I have a brand new battery as of a couple weeks ago just for the simple being that I'm responsible and I replace things when it's past the time and needs to be replaced. So my friend drove all the way up to us went across the street to AutoZone and bought a brand new battery and put it in then car started right up and was back to normal. But after the girls and I got home and went to bed we got up did our normal daily routine and got in the car to go do some errands and I pull out of my neighborhood and then boom I did it again and I was stuck in the middle of traffic on [XXX] . Three officers had to block off traffic then battery wouldn't hold a charge with that brand new battery three batteries later and an alternator we'll see what happens now INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

> I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue brand new and it now has only 32,000 miles. It has a major water leak—flooding the interior through the lights, vents, and floor—yet Nissan won’t cover it under warranty and State Farm denied my comprehensive claim. The vehicle has sat exposed for 3 weeks at the body shop during constant rain, worsening the damage. The car is now unsafe to drive. Nissan failed to disclosure valid and pertinent information regarding the limitations on their warranty coverage. Furthermore, Nissan failed to disclose maintenance guidelines for maintaining a sunroof. Additionally, regardless of any debris build-up, the size of the water lines are inadequate to hold large volumes of water at a given time. The amount of rain that has occurred in Alabama over the past 3 months super exceeds the capacity of these drainage tubes, leading to interior flooding that is detrimental to the integrity of the safety features in this vehicle. My lights, electrical panel, air bags, and electrical ports have all been impacted by this intrusion and now I'm left with a useless, unsafe, and unpredictable vehicle that has a total of 32,000 miles. This is fraud and deceptive behavior that should be made public. I believe others need to know this could happen. I’d appreciate your help.

I reported my steamed up headlight assemblies to NISSAN while performing oil change and tire rotations early on after my purchase which was 12302016 so end of year model clearance. The moisture in the headlamp affected night visibility. Felt safety concern but told the small weep hole was part of the product design. Why would any manufacturer put a weep hole on the headlamp if it is sealed w/ gaskets & engine compartment assembly sealed w/ gaskets at bulb/wiring harness? While driving in snow/rain, dirty water enters the assembly causing the temporary fogging affecting vision, especially after a warm day and moisture trying to escape via evaporation. ONLY PURE WATER CAN EVER EVAPORATE & DEBRIS DIRT left behind is impossible for owner to clean as this is CLOSED HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY. Other complaint within a few years of ownership was the oxidation of the poor quality plastic used on the headlight assembly. I BOUGHT A CAR COVER to reduce sun damage once I had issues since this affects safety/driving visibility. I cannot drive w/ HIGH BEAMS in a CITY. I only have 55K miles as I have other vehicles that I drive & am very disappointed as I must now replace the entire two headlight assemblies BUT DO NOT WANT ANY OEM PRODUCT as I see their product as DEFFECTIVE and POOR DESIGN. MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN WITH VISIBILITY WHEN USING HEADLIGHTS which is OK if on due to rain during the daytime BUT NIGHT TIME VISIBILITY is TERRIBLE. Reported finally up the chain at NISSAN but want to report to your safety division. I cannot believe they were able to get away with this design FLAW & dismiss our concerns over safety for years. Told $2,000 for them to replace but I don't want their DEFECTIVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES so now forced to research and purchase elsewhere with NO WEEP HOLE. All headlamps should be factory sealed and whoever thought this was a way to avoid issues with poorly manufactured and sealed headlight steam complaints just made situation worse!

As I am steering, the horn goes off at any moment for a long period of time distracting many drivers and scaring them half to death on the road ! This is an incident that has been going on for a while, and there are many other people that I have came across with the same problem. This is my only car and I have no idea who to turn to, but the amount of money for a Nissan that is in great condition and has never been in an accidents seems to have allot of electrical failures.

Air bag light will not go out. Had it “repaired” twice by Nissan dealership in past 2 years. Light again on and will not go out. I saw a couple of recalls pertaining to air bag sensors (16V911000, 16V244000, 22V024000) but was told these do not apply to my VIN. Also, since August 1, 2023, the rear hatch back door will not stay up and came down unexpectedly on my head. I saw there was a recall for my year car for the hatch issue (recall #16V219000) and notified Nissan on 8/8 but I was told my VIN is not part of that recall either. This hatch is a very real hazard as it will not stay up for loading and unloading items. I feel both of the air bag light and the hatch pose ongoing hazards if not remedied. Having these two items addressed and repaired at Nissan’s expense is desirable since my vehicle is within the recall years and is exhibiting the issues noted in the recalls. Your helping in getting this to Nissan’s attention would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought this vehicle from Nissan Of Queens. I was not able to observed that the Left Headlights were cracked slightly. Luckily for me, I had taken a picture of the Vehicle before I took the vehicle from the Dealer and texted it to a friend; because he wanted to see the color of the vehicle. So I have the proof of the cracked headlights before I took the car. The people of Nissan of Queens has been telling me for over 4 weeks now that they will fix the problem. They told me they filed a claim with Nissan. There is now water in the Light from the moist. This is a bad for business. Now I will never recommend anyone to buy a car from this dealer. I hope you can help. [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2019 Nissan Rogue Las Vegas, NV

EXTERIOR LIGHTING

The speedclips which hold the Map Light in place are formed incorrectly. The interior teeth that retain the Map Light's molded retention tabs are bent too aggressively. Over time, in both our 2017 Rogue and 2019 Rogue, road vibrations caused the teeth to gnaw entirely through the plastic. This causes the Map Light to fall down and "deploy" suddenly into the driver's field of vision. When the map light falls, it not only startles the driver, it obstructs approximately 40-50% of the windshield. Nissan considers this a "cosmetic" issue and thus, it is not covered under ANY Nissan extended warranty. The cost to have it replaced with another part that will STILL fail in the exact same manner is over $1,200. This is a SERIOUS life safety issue since it is likely to fall at high speeds when the car naturally vibrates the most. It happened in 100% of the Rogues we have owned and always at highway speeds. It was repaired under the 3/36K factory warranty on our 2017, but now Nissan claims that it is a "cosmetic" and not covered under our "best you can get" Nissan extended warranty. Eventually, it will cause a serious accident and possibly death of both vehicle occupants and others on the road.
