The contact owns a 2025 Ford F-150. While the contact was driving at an undisclosed speed, the moonroof fractured without impact. The contact stated that there were no vehicles nearby and there was no impact to cause the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected. The contact stated that the failure was a known failure with similar vehicles. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,300.

Front panel of the sunroof randomly shattered after closing the door to enter. The truck was in park. Ford says it must’ve been a rock or damage to it since glass doesn’t randomly shatter but there wasn’t any. Truck is less than a year old and 10,000 miles. Truck is currently at the dealership while I figure out options/warranties. Dealer initially said warranty only covers defects, not glass. Coincidentally, there was a recall notice for area near sunroof but Ford/Dealer say it has no correlation.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH during a snowstorm, the windshield wipers failed to function as intended. The contact became aware of an abnormal burning odor coming from under the hood of the vehicle, entering the vehicle through the A/C vents. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the windshield wiper motors had failed and needed to be replaced along with the wiring. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the Extended Warranty was lapsed. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. Sunroof BLOWUP. It didn't break: IT BLOW UP. Explosion was LOUD; DISORIENTING ; CONFUSING. It put vehicle, me and passagers at risk. Reson for the glass exploding are not clear. I was doing nothing that would cause it to happen. Not a use in time of explosion. No know stressers. No weather caused reasons in happening. IT EXPLODED for no know reason.

Wipers failed during rain storm. Wipers initially started to operate sporadically and then stopped. Later they worked fine. Wipers then started to fail to operate every morning but if switch left on would randomly start working. Vehicle was taken in for service Vice but was told the issue could not be duplicated. As weather reached freezing temperatures wipers quit working completely. Replaced wiper motor myself and issue was fixed. Found out after replacing the motor had been previously replaced as part of a safety recall in April 2023.

After driving for approximately 2 hours, A/C stopped blowing out of vents. Even adjusting the fan speed up & lowering temp, vents did not blow air. However, I could hear air blowing within console. During this time, defrost of windshield did not work. I turned off system for approximately 30 minutes and then system began working. This same situation has happened 2previous times.

There is a recall for my vehicle that I cannot get fixed unless I go 150+ miles away to get it serviced at another dealership. The dealership near me, which is where I purchased new from, says it needs to go to a dealership that has a body shop which theirs does not have. I don't think it should be on me to drive half the state to get remedied and why they can't use a local body shop to perform the repair. Driving in clear weather, open road, on I-95, no overpasses, smooth road, no road debris, no trucks anywhere in sight, no weird traffic conditions - front panel of my panoramic sunroof, which was closed at the time, just EXPLODED. It sounded like a shotgun went off above my head. Since the headliner was closed at the time, all the pieces were present when I got to a car-wash to vacuum up the glass. I only saw glass. No foreign objects, no rocks, no unknown pieces of the International Space Station - just glass.

A/C stops blowing out any vent although you can hear the blower motor running. If car is off for 5 minutes, A/C resumes working for a short time, and then repeats above problem. cannot defrost windows or control any output of the A/C. For recall NHTSA # 22S26/22V250 the service department said they were ordering parts and would contact me when they arrived. Never contacted me, even after follow ups. I have recently taken my there for recall NHTSA 23S35/23V509. They have not contacted me.

Ford is unable to correct the safety recall for the windshield wiper motor. Ford has sent out notice of recall with instructions to call them to correct on four + occasions. I have made four (4) attempts since the recall and two (2) dealerships in my area both have turned me away stating they would not be able to repair due to parts not being available, etc... The ability for the wipers to deactivate during rains/heavy rains would be a critical defect, placing drivers and other motorist, pedestrians at risks.
