Since I purchased the vehicle, I turn my steering wheel all the way to the left. It makes this clicking sound, and I can feel the clicking under me like it’s coming from the driver side and I have a maintenance notification on my dashboard fan. The clicking noise has gotten worse and made me do my own research on the problem. The tire needs maintenance, but there’s no flat so something told me to google exactly what was the problem was and I got a message on Google stating that there are many recalls on this particular car about a CV joint on the axle. I know that this is the problem because everything that was said online from people that had the car previously it’s the exact problem that I have. I need this inspected immediately.

I purchased a brand new 2026 Nissan Sentra from McGavock Nissan Lubbock back in XXX. Not the base model but the fully loaded all bells and whistles model. At 9pm on Friday. XXX, after dark a truck carrying metal dropped some of his load. Although I tried to avoid it I did end up striking a piece of the metal while 2 hours from Lubbock. The metal sliced a tire open from the side. I went to the trunk to get the spare tire only to find the spare tire compartment was empty. I had to spend $300 to have the car towed. I had to spend $200 to rent a hotel room since it was late and all the tire places were closed. Not having a spare in the car had me stranded overnight in [XXX]. I had to purchase a tire, jack, and wheel wrench to change the tire. So I'm out roughly $500 and change because there was no spare to get me home. Both Texas DPS and Canyon Police Department showed up to check on me. Both Officers were flabbergasted that the car had no spare or emergency equipment. So it's not a common occurrence or a well-known one. On XXX I went to McGavock Nissan Lubbock and spoke to Sales Manager Willis Hockett. I explained the story to him and asked for the emergency tire accessories the car traditionally came with. What he told me was that spare tires and the emergency equipment to put them on are now upgrades that you have to pay for. That it was my fault for not asking about the spare and emergency equipment during the sale. That if it was not on the window invoice that the car did not come with it. I asked why this "upgrade" wasn't included in the Nissan commercials or the paperwork I reviewed before I purchased the vehicle. I also asked why I wasn't informed by the sales person that the car was being sold in pieces instead of as a whole unit. Nissan is selling Brand New fully loaded vehicles without the standard safety equipment. This led to my being stranded overnight in a town 2 hours away because tire places were closed. I have a 2024 Nissan Sentra SV that I have leased brand new since January 2023. As of today, 10/28/2025 I have only 14,605 miles on this vehicle. I drive local only, no highways yet the tires are completely bald and needed to be replaced. The tire pressure would only hold 27. They were a road hazard. I could not drive to the dealership, Jenkins Nissan in Leesburg Florida due to the condition of the tires and it was raining. I had to replace all 4 tires at the expense of $890.00 not to mention the time I lost from work to have these replaced. These tires were under warranty. Boulevard Tire in Lady Lake, Florida has the tires. They will be submitting the information you need. I did call Hankook today, 10/28/2025 to start the claim. This vehicle has only 14k miles so how is it possible they were so dangerous and bad. I expect to get a full refund. Hankook is giving me a hard time about the warranty because I didn't replace with the same tires. I couldn't drive more than 2 miles and made it Boulevard Tire for help. They have the tires and it have photos. No tires should never wear like that with that kind of mileage and only local driving, no highway driving. I'll attach photos. The competent that continues to fail is the emergency response breaks. They continue to stop at random times creating a very unsafe environment while I drive daily. I do have this on video and my car is available for inspection at any time. I just recently finally got the emergency break system on video since it is so random and plan on making an appointment with my local Nissan Dealer. I did have a visit recently regarding the recall for the tire rods. My car continues to make odd sounds and I paid over $1000 to get it fixed with all new tires. These problems have began since the day I got my car. I have bought over 10 wheels due to issues with the tire rods. The video we finally were able to get was last night regarding the emergency stop systems, it does not let me add to the complaint but I can send to any email if needed as well as the local Nissan dealer did inspect and work on the car for my tires and tire rods.

I was rear-ended and it didn't alert me at all and the driver of the other vehicle took off.and once in a while the front collision works and most of the time it doesn't work

To the best of my knowledg The front LH drive shaft came off the transaxle case leaving me no power of steering or breaking forcing me into the center divider. if this happened on a freeway driving speed limit or a busy street the accident would be fatal. Problem has been confirmed by Nissan themselves the year and make of my car has been recalled for this issue. A few days prior I did smell oil burning and was going to the issue looked at at the dealership unfortunately this accident or malfunction happened. There was no police report but the police did show up to make sure I was okay and they called the tow company affiliated with the department so I believe there's some record of it but no actual police report was made because I didn't feel that it was needed because no one was involved other than myself.

On August 21, 2024, my daughter was driving the car and was in the drive thru to get breakfast. As she turn the corner and was in the line to pick up her meal, the car wouldn’t move. She tapped on the gas once more, upon doing so the car veered to the left ( she had no control in the steering) and the tire rod broke causing her to crash into the small cement barrier. I call the dealership where I purchased the vehicle and I was advised to contact Nissan Consumer. The vehicle is not drivable and I was advised to have it towed to a dealership, where it has been for a month now. The inspector went to the dealership over two weeks ago. I was told I would receive an a call regarding the results to determine if Nissan was at fault ( this makes no sense since there’s an open recall and the tie rod is bent/broken). I’ve yet to hear from Nissan Consumer with the results. I’ve left 2 messages and no one has returned my call. The dealership is charging a daily storage fee, car/insurance payments are being made on a vehicle that’s not in my possession. My daughter has to pay for Uber rides for her classes at the school where she has to do observations for her degree. She has to pay for grocery delivery. Additionally, my daughter is a recent kidney transplant recipient. She has doctors appointments she must attend. Without a vehicle, I have to go to a different city to pick her up, take her to the appointment and bring her back. Which means I have to take off from work ( loss wages/ or use vacation time) which I shouldn’t have to, until this issue is rectified. I understand the protocol and we’re not the only consumers with issue, but over a month is ridiculous.

The wheel keeps turning to the right and won't go straight. The wheel makes a clicking noise when it turns. It seems to be something to do with the steering column. Must keep turning the steering wheel to the left for it to work properly. I have replaced the steering gear assembly at my own expense, but the problem has not improved, proving to be a design issue near the tire and tie rod. I'm sure the sound is coming from near the tire and tie rod. Yes. I found the recall notice but no solution was given. There doesn't seem to be any plan to fix this design flaw? I need to file a complaint!

There is a current open recall Campain ID R23B3 on the tie rods requiring replacement, however there is no current remedy per Nissan. This faulty tie rod can break and cause COMPLETE loss of steering, as there is a STOP SALE on this vehicle it is not safe to drive. Vaden Nissan has my vehicle every 5000 miles during each service/oil change from 2021 until 2024. I also notified the Vaden Nissan dealership again of this open recall issue during my last inspection, they rotated the new tires I had to purchase and sent me on my way. While driving my 2021 Nissan Sentra on [XXX] (a moderately busy highway), I experienced noticeable vibrations through the steering wheel, especially when accelerating and making turns. As I attempted to exit the highway, via a curved off-ramp, the steering wheel became extremely shaky and impossible to turn. I struggled to keep the car within the lane and then completely lost steering control. This caused me to veer off the road and nearly into the shoulder. I experienced such panic and fear as my [XXX] nephew was in the car seat in the back of my vehicle and was also extremely frightened. I am now extremely unsatisfied with Nissan and its lack of commitment to sell safe vehicles, I cannot legally resell this vehicle in the current condition and am left with no option but to drive an unsafe car, under the lemon law I have the right to sue. I pray that IF I absolutely have to drive this Nissan Sentra again there are no injuries, life-altering disabilities or possible death incurred to myself of my passengers. On [XXX] my son [XXX] took the Nissan Sentra in for service at Coggin Nissan for a routine oil change. My son told me before I made the appointment for service that he thought that some of his fluids may be low because the steering felt weird. I requested that the steering and other fluids be checked as well as the tire pressure. After the service on the Sentra was completed service we were provided with their recommendation for additional services. They listed that the all four tires were worn and needed to be replaced which I thought was odd. They also recommended an alignment and replacing the brakes pads. There was no mention of any other services being required or any mention of a recall. Before leaving I asked the gentleman at the counter if the fluids and tire pressure had been checked and he said they were and that they do a multi point inspection on all vehicles being serviced. I also mentioned to the gentleman that my son was still having problems with his battery, and it was brand new. The gentleman stated that the batteries are not made the same as they used to be and don’t last us long. On Saturday [XXX], just a few days after having the car serviced my son [XXX] was taking his girlfriend home at around 10:30 pm and was driving on [XXX] before getting on [XXX]. He was having issues with his steering and was unable to steer, losing control but was somehow able to pull in to the parking lot of a bank. He hit a curb or something, the tire blew out and he doesn't think he hit anything else but the front bottom front piece on car was hanging and had to be removed. There was also some other damage near tire. I thank God that he hadn't gotten on the highway when this occurred otherwise this could’ve been a lot worse and lives could have been lost.
