Traveling on the highway with no cars near us and our panoramic sunroof exploded showering myself and my passenger with glass at highway speed. There are no over hanging trees or over passes in this area.

Bought my vehicle brand new on January 2026. During heavy rain, my truck has a strong water leak that comes out of the handle bars between the windshield and front door windows, behind the rearview mirrors and the sun glasses compartment. I’ve brought my vehicle to the dealership 3 times already and couldn’t fix the issue or duplicate the water leak. After the third visit at the dealership, i couldn’t find out if the leak was fixed since it has not rained since then. So i went ahead and washed my vehicle and sprayed the top and front of my vehicle. As i went in my truck, i saw water leaking again.

Rear sunroof window exploded out while driving. Truck had just under 9000 total miles on it when this happened. Driving on I25 east of Casper Wyoming in very high cross winds. No other vehicle was within a quarter of a mile when the roof exploded with a VERY loud bang!

Heads up display(HUD) and windshield incompatibility issues from factory making HUD display blurry. Very distracting while driving because you’re too busy trying to see clearly and it takes away time from playing attention to the road. Lots of reports online about blurry HUD with 3rd generation toyota tundra from the beginning model year all the way up to most recent model year- it seems like they’re not doing anything about it. People online have reported getting dizzy while driving when trying to focus on the HUD- possible cause of accidents? Please look into this!

I brought my Toyota Tundra to Gullo Toyota of Conroe for a routine service and a recall software update. The truck went in with a perfectly functioning front camera, and it came back with the camera completely blurry. The dealership is only 10 minutes from my home — I noticed the issue the moment I pulled into my garage. I assumed the camera was dirty and cleaned it several times, but nothing changed. When I called the dealership, the service advisor told me that the recall software update “tends to do that” to Tundra cameras. My truck is a 2023 with only 28,000 miles, so he scheduled me for another software update. After dropping it off, I received a text an hour later claiming my front camera was “chipped” and that replacing it would cost $2,500. I went back in person to get an explanation, and suddenly the story changed: now they insisted the camera was damaged by a rock before I brought the truck in. The service manager even made the absurd statement, “This didn’t happen on my driveway or service area.” The advisor, Matthew McWhirte, claimed they have cameras everywhere, but when I asked to see footage, he had no answer. This is despite their own staff previously acknowledging that the software update can cause camera issues. They still refused to take responsibility or cover the repair. And here’s the thing: if the camera was accidentally broken by their drivers or mechanics, just be honest about it. Mistakes happen — lying about them is what destroys trust. When I escalated to the service manager, the situation got even worse. He was rude, dismissive, and condescending — making confident claims with zero evidence, contradicting what his own advisor had already told me. Instead of investigating, he doubled down on denial. A front camera is a safety feature. A dealership performing recall work that results in a malfunction, and accidentally breaks it, should fix it — not lie, deflect, and blame the customer.

Vehicle: 2024 Toyota Tundra Double Cab | VIN: [XXX] | Mileage: ~19,200 No crash or injury has occurred. This report concerns an unresolved safety defect. My Tundra intermittently fails to accelerate when the gas pedal is pressed from a slow roll (3-18 mph). The engine revs but the vehicle does not move for 1-2+ seconds before the driveline abruptly engages. This occurs at intersections and during low-speed traffic transitions. It is worse on cold starts. I have experienced sudden unintended deceleration while attempting to enter traffic. This vehicle is covered under Safety Recall 25TA14 / NHTSA 26V320 ("Engine May Stall During Driving"). The TSB remedy was applied at my dealer on June 11, 2026. The remedy did not resolve the condition. I have OBD-II logs proving the defect persists post-remedy. Using Torque Pro at 10 Hz, I captured 55 instrumented hesitation events on June 11 alone -- 18 on the drive to the dealer before the TSB, and 37 after leaving. The worst single measurement shows a 1.7-second delay between pedal input and throttle blade response. My full dataset spans 131 events across multiple drives. Highway driving is completely normal throughout; the defect is exclusively a low-speed tip-in condition. The dealer has been unable to duplicate the condition across five repair order presentations since February 2025. The vehicle spent 105 days in dealer possession with no repair performed. I am reporting this as a failure of the Recall 25TA14 remedy on this specific VIN. Full OBD-II logs, GPS data, timestamped event charts, and all service records are available on request. 2 recall notices on my 2023 Toyota Tundra has not been repaired yet. 1. Engine recall has not been remedied. 2. back up camera still not repaired. It's been over 6 month's that my truck has been at the dealer since January 2026 and Toyota still has not made any repairs to the recall. Toyota provides the rent a car, however, I want my truck returned to me. I opened two cases with Toyota for lemon law and they said it is not qualified under the lemon law. 2. A month later, the 2nd case was for Toyota to buy back my truck and they denied it. No reason, no explanation. Please assist me in getting this problem resolved with Toyota. No one has any answers to provide in resolving the recall notices for my truck.

While driving on the interstate, my sunroof suddenly exploded and glass shattered from the moveable portion of the sunroof. It sounded like a shotgun or a very loud pop. There was nothing above me on the road (i.e. no overpasses, etc) and no vehicles in front of me at the time. The sunshade was closed which saved me from pieces of glass falling on me, in my eyes, and potentially cutting me. It was very sudden, unexpected, and on a vehicle that is only ~18 months old. This was very loud, unexpected, and sudden. A potentially very dangerous situation.

My 2025 Toyota Tundra’s air conditioning is not cooling properly. The A/C does not perform as expected, especially in hot weather. I am concerned this may be a defect in the HVAC/climate control system. I am also concerned about driver safety because poor A/C performance in extreme heat can affect the driver and passengers, and HVAC issues may also affect proper window defogging/defrosting. I am requesting that NHTSA review this issue and track similar complaints for possible investigation. Not blowing cold wind, temperature changes and blows less air as temperature changes from hot to cold or cold to hot. at one point drove around 5 miles away from home before cool air started to blow.

In a 2020 Toyota Tundra, 1794 Edition (60k miles), traveling at normal highway speed, the moonroof glass panel spontaneously exploded. There was no previous damage or modification to the moonroof panel. Panel explosion was extremely loud and surprising. Large pieces of glass were blown back onto the highway. If the shade was not drawn at this time, large amounts of glass would have also rained down onto the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Clear dash camera footage shows speed under the speed limit, and no impact from any sort of debris.

Was living in South Carolina at the time, but now live in West Virginia. Airbag light came on and Horn stopped working. Has not worked since and received a recall in the mail, but they are saying my vehicle is not on the list. Has not been repaired, but still in-operative.

My vehicle sustained a flat tire after driving. I was able to make it home safely. Vehicle was taken to dealer who found no evidence of a nail. This is the second incident. The first incident occurred while I was driving but thankfully I Was able to pull into a gas station. After research I found out that the tires on the new Toyota tundra have had weak side wall issues causing the tires the explode or wear out prematurely. I have tire warranty through Toyota. I believe Toyota offered this warranty due to their knowledge of the tires being defective. Other issues have been the wheel alignment and premature thread wear which is also a known problem with these vehicles.

Center console glossy trim around the gear shift gives off a blinding glare from the sunlight coming through the front windshield. Almost side swiped the adjacent vehicle on my right when blinded. This was noted and photographed after just owning the vehicle for one day. Talked to Toyota Corporate who told me to take it to local dealership. Toyota of Fort Worth said there is nothing they can do and referred back to Toyota Corporate. Toyota Corporate has yet to respond. The start/stop is faulty. Engine does not turn off at red lights (bypass not activated). At red lights, the "press brake further to activate" light will come on, the truck will shake, then the "battery charging" warning light will come on. Dealership response is I am not breaking hard enough or I just need to learn to press the bypass every time I start the vehicle. The vehicle will automatically turn off the engine when I park the vehicle, but as soon as I take my foot off the brake (while still parked in the driveway), the truck will automatically restart. Basically, the start/stop does not work while driving but will work when parked. Per Toyota of Fort Worth Service Dept, that is normal operation.

Frame failed inspection for holes in frame. Had part of frame welded and got inspected.11/01/2022. Had been turned down by Toyota dealer previously. Now with less than 10,000 miles added, has another location where frame has rusted thru , making inspection passing impossible. And driving dangerous. Needs a new frame nd Toyota said no, according to the dealer. New Country Toyota, Saratoga NY. Can I sue Toyota? Is there statute of limitations on frame defects? What are my options. Thank you for your time and consideration. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
