Driving on I-69 in the right lane 18 miles south of Bloomington In. with our 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport Touring in adapative cruise at 77 on a straight dry road the driver front tire blew out with 14 holes on the outside sidewall. There was a car passing me on the left and when it blew out it pulled me towards it as he moved left to avoid hitting, I turnrd off adaptive cruise immediately and slowly applied brakes to pull off the road on the right. No warning lights ever came on in the vehicle. Michelin Primacy A/S 235/55 R19 The vehicle was towed to Andy Moore Honda in Bloonington In. by road side Honda and the tire was replaced and a front end alignment was done. My passenger side rear tire exploded off of the vehicle as I was driving 75mph down XXX. I was fortunate to be able to bring the car under control and get it out of the path of traffic. I could have been killed by this tire failure and loss of control. I had the vehicle towed to the Honda dealership in [XXX] . They told me I must have hit something. I absolutely did not hit anything that day or any other day. It was a clear, dry, sunny day. I was not in any road construction, and there was no debris on road. In addition the tire pressure warning light did not come on either before or after the tire exploded. I believe this was a failure as well. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Not on my car. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The only inspection was by the dealer at the time of repair. The contact owns a 2022 Honda CR-V equipped with Continental Tires, Tire Line: Cross Contact, Tire Size: 235/55/R19, DOT Number: HWE7WC8K1722. The contact stated that there was a round dot on the front passenger’s side tire. Upon closer inspection, the tire displayed a crack and a large groove along the sidewall, and the sidewall lettering was missing. The other three tires were manufactured by Continental but were a different tire line and showed no visible damage. The vehicle was taken to a tire center for inspection, where it was determined that the bead was broken and that the tire had been driven while flat. The vehicle was then taken to a local dealer, who informed the contact that two of the tires needed to be replaced. The tires were not replaced. The dealer confirmed that there was no warranty or recall coverage available for the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 17,463.

I purchased this 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid on 11/06/2024 from Tower Honda in Longview, Texas. I purchased the vehicle with the Hankook Kinergy GT tires already on there, and these tires are still on here till this day. On January 19th, 2026, I went in for an oil change, and my service advisor mentioned a tire rotation. Once they were finished with the vehicle he did share with me that I only had 10%-20% tread life left. I only have 32,176 miles on my vehicle, and after researching, the tread life on these tires is 70,000 - 75,000 miles. Their are customers that have, and or having the same problem that I am having. During my research Hankook Tires are known to have premature tread wear, tread separation/sidewall issues, poor longevity, and sometimes difficulty warrant claims. I can't believe dealerships would even allow these type of tires on vehicles knowing that the tread life and value is horrible, but I guess at the end of the day, everyone is trying to make a sale, and safety doesn't matter. I think Hankook Tires better take heed at the complaints, and issues of their tires. These serious issues can turn into legal matters for this company. My tire size is 235/60R18

My brand-new 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring AWD came equipped from the factory with Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus all-season (M+S) tires. These tires exhibit dangerously low traction at very low speeds on normal packed snow and light ice typical on California’s Hwy 80/Tahoe corridor. On Fri Jan 3rd, the vehicle repeatedly lost traction, slid sideways, and struggled to accelerate from a stop on mild winter conditions where M+S tires are expected to provide adequate traction—particularly on an AWD SUV. This occurred at speeds under 10 mph on roads where other vehicles with M+S tires had no difficulty. The issue appears to be abnormally poor winter performance that is inconsistent with what is typical for M+S all-season tires. This raises concern about a possible tread compound defect, hard rubber compound, or manufacturing inconsistency with this specific Ecopia batch or production run. California law (Caltrans chain controls) considers AWD vehicles with M+S tires acceptable for winter operation without chains under R1 and often R2 conditions. These tires fail to meet this expected level of basic winter safety, even though they are legally marked M+S. Honda informed me that these tires are “not intended to be driven on snow and require chains,” which contradicts how M+S-rated OEM tires are used statewide and raises concern that the tire may not be performing to federal Mud & Snow design standards. This appears to be a safety defect affecting traction, stopping, and control of the vehicle during normal winter operation. A tire inspection or compound evaluation may be needed.

My safety has been put at risk using these Bridgestone Ecopia (235/60R/18) tires. They were purchased in 2024 and after a little more than a year and 14,000K miles the front tires are wearing unevenly with little tread left and in need of replacement. There are two (2) known recalls and eight (8) consumer complaints about these tires (see attached). I am seeking reimbursement towards replacement tires I have complained to Honda (where tires were purchased) and the Better Business as well.

103H tire So after I get the car from dealership, the next week I had a sign or tire low pressure by the dashboard and I start checking everyday and I figured out that is specifically is by the driver side tire is low pressure. First I took it to discount tire to see and they said I don't see any flat tire or any issues and he pump them all and tried to balance them . But still the sign in the dashboard so I decided to take it to dealership and they said maybe only the dashboard computer and they fixed it and was not showing that day as the sign went from TEMPS setting. Next day I have the sign again pops up and I scheduled second appointment with the Honda west dealership to check entire tire. They did and said we didn't see anything wrong and we fixed it again in the dashboard.i went home and next day same issue again the dashboard sign shows low pressure and also the tire itself went low pressure was not balanced everytime they blow air on it and goes low again in few minutes.i bring it again for third time and the worse sinario is that the mechanical agent touch something in the engine and the oil explodes all over the engine areas causing leak and smoke all over and oil splashed everywhere inside and outside and I have videos and photos.
