When driving the vehicle down the highway it just randomly hard shifted out of know where almost causing us to be rear-ended. The dash then said service transmission continue in drive do not shift or turn engine off until you reach a desired location. You may not be able to shift again until services. It then limited power to the vehicle. It was show codes U1003, U0101, and U0402 multiple times. The vehicle was taking to a dealer where it was "parked" only it wouldn't go into park. We had to put the e-brake up holding it in place at the dealer so it wouldn't roll. Then when attempting to shut the vehicle off it only stopped the engine from running. It stayed in ACC mode all night until the dealer could mess with it the next day. The dealer is now saying it's just a dead battery. This is unsafe and could have ended very badly just for a dead battery that showed no signs of issues before hand. For a vehicle that on has approximately 57k miles and is 4 years old this is horrible.

In October 2025, the Anti-lock Breaking System (ABS) Brake, traction control, downhill control indicators all illuminated. This also impacts cruise control and acceleration from a stopped position. My repair technician placed an order for the necessary ABS control module with MOPAR. The expected delivery date was August 2026. In August 2026, MOPAR informed them the part was on a nationwide back order with no ETR for resolution. I placed an order for the ABS Module in August 2026, with a suggested date of delivery in two weeks. MOPAR has advised us today 18 August 26, there is no ETR for this critical component to be available. Anti-lock brakes are federally mandated in all vehicles 2012 and beyond. Not having this module disables multiple required safety components in the vehicle not just ABS and puts the consumer, other drivers at risk.

My vehicle has experienced a complete failure of the ABS Control Module. A dealer diagnosis confirmed internal module failure. The symptoms are: - All ABS system warning lights illuminated (ABS, traction control, brake, sway bar) - Odometer and speedometer stop working while driving - All brake lights remain on continuously - Vehicle exhibits erratic shifting / rough braking This is a documented safety defect affecting many Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep owners where the dealer confirms the ABS module is defective but cannot repair due to the part being on national backorder with no ETA. I am being told the part is backordered indefinitely. I am left driving an unsafe vehicle with no functioning ABS, stability control, or accurate speed/odometer reading, or parking a vehicle I am still paying for and insuring. I am formally requesting: 1. Immediate provision of a replacement ABS module, or a loaner/rental vehicle at FCA's expense until repair

Following the completion of the 68C recall update on 4/17/26 my 2024 Jeep 4xE experiences a severe loss of acceleration and throttle lag at highway speeds (over 50 mph) when in electric mode. When attempting to pass vehicles (and sometimes when in the oncoming traffic lane), or when just trying to maintain speed in traffic, the drivetrain abruptly throttles power; causing the vehicle to bog down and hesitate. There is no ability to accelerate and care slows. The gas pedal is essentially useless. The gas engine then performs a panic start, causing the vehicle to lurch forward at highway speeds. It has created and dangerous driving condition when passing, merging or just trying to keep pace the traffic around me. There is no way to know exactly when it will happen, so the unpredictability makes it even more dangerous. I understand this is an issue with many Jeep 4xE since the 68C recall update. It has happened to me 4 times now, the most recent was today. This is unacceptable.

While driving my vehicle, I have noticed a significant decrease in power and a corresponding slowdown, particularly in traffic conditions. This has resulted in a near-miss collision with another vehicle in the rear. Furthermore, attempting to accelerate the vehicle has proven futile. ps. The ABS control module has internal problem which shuts down the module. Results of the module shut down includes: -The stability and traction systems are offline. -A failure in the ABS module or hydraulic unit. -Cruise Control inoperable. -The module no longer modulates brake pressure, which can result in brakes locking. Currently, Mopar has stopped production of this item, so there is no method to replace a failed or non-working module with an original part.

While driving from [XXX] to [XXX], the vehicle experienced two sudden loss-of-propulsion events at highway speed. During the first incident in downtown [XXX], cruise control disengaged, the transmission abruptly downshifted, and the accelerator became largely unresponsive. The vehicle rapidly lost speed in traffic, and another vehicle nearly rear-ended me because I could not maintain speed or accelerate. The engine remained running, but the vehicle appeared to enter reduced-power or limp mode. I pulled over, shut the vehicle off, and restarted it. Normal throttle operation temporarily returned. The check-engine light and “Stop/Start Not Available” warning remained illuminated. After approximately three hours of otherwise normal driving, I activated cruise control again. The same condition immediately returned: cruise disengaged, the transmission downshifted, throttle response was lost, and the vehicle rapidly decelerated. Restarting again restored normal operation. This unexpected loss of propulsion created a serious collision risk because the vehicle abruptly slowed in moving highway traffic without allowing me to accelerate out of danger. The problem appears directly associated with cruise-control activation, although the exact mechanical or electronic cause is unknown. The vehicle has approximately 40,300 miles, was purchased as Jeep Certified Pre-Owned, and had a new OEM battery installed by an authorized Jeep dealership shortly after purchase. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate similar reports involving sudden throttle loss, abrupt downshifting, reduced-power operation, or loss of propulsion at highway speeds. On XXX at approximately 1000am, [XXX] was driving the Jeep on [XXX] at a speed of 72mph. The vehicle was in E-Save mode and had 16 miles of battery life remaining. [XXX] switched over to Electric mode and slowly began to lose speed. She put the accelerator all the way to the floor, but the gas motor did not activate. The Jeep dropped slowly down to 62mph where it leveled off. Shortly thereafter she exited the highway, so she was able to come off the accelerator. On XXX at approximately 1002am, [XXX] was on the exit ramp from [XXX] northbound to [XXX]. At the end of the ramp, she stopped and tried to make a left turn onto [XXX] northbound. The vehicle was still in Electric mode (plenty of battery life remaining). The Jeep crawled through the intersection, with the accelerator all the way to the floor. [XXX] feared that she would be struck by oncoming traffic. The gas motor did not activate until sometime after she cleared the intersection. At that point there was a message on the dashboard "Electric Mode Unavailable". The Jeep switched itself to Hybrid mode. For the next two miles the Jeep ran utilizing the gasoline engine. The Jeep traveled erratically. It would slightly speed up and then slightly slow down. It was unable to maintain a constant speed. After two miles [XXX] stopped at a red light. The gasoline motor shut off. When the light turned green, she was able to easily travel the next mile home utilizing battery power only. Most of the dash lights are on scan code U1412. Says traction control not working, ABS not working, speedometer not working, and airbags not working. The Power Control Module (PCM) needs replaced. A known issue with the Jeep Wrangler JKs. No one stocks the parts and used ones are way over priced. How can Jeep not have to replace it or at least stock a replacement part that has the issues resolved?

On [XXX] at approximately [XXX] pm I was at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. When the light turned green I attempted to make a left turn. The Jeep was in E-Save mode, but the gas engine was not on at the time. I stepped on the accelerator, but the vehicle moved very slowly through the turn, no matter how hard I pressed down on the accelerator (electric motor engaged at this time). I feared that I would get struck by other vehicles due to the very slow rate of speed. When I cleared the intersection, the gas motor finally turned on and supplied me with the required amount of acceleration. On 6-22-26 at approximately 1035 am, I was traveling southbound on Rte 140 in Taunton. I was in the left lane, traveling at a speed of approximately 55 mph. The Jeep was in Electric Mode. I attempted to accelerate so that I could get around a tanker truck. I pressed down on the accelerator, but my speed only went up to 56 mph before slowly starting to come down. I pressed harder on the accelerator, but my speed continued to drop. There was a vehicle traveling close behind me that was clearly getting aggravated by my slow speed (posted 65mph zone). I came off the accelerator and moved into the right lane. At this point the gas engine finally came on and gave me additional acceleration power.

After the latest 68C recall fix, Jeep has adjusted the behavior of how the vehicle's electric mode operates. When the battery gets to a certain temperature when driving, the engine is supposed to turn on (to prevent the fire risk hazard). However, instead of the vehicle making the powertrain switch, the vehicle power will just stop. The pedal will go to the floor but no forward movement. It is dangerous in many driving situations, like the highway or among other vehicles when mine unexpectedly stops. Jeep has tried to fix this exact issue in 3 separate recalls, but it still occurs. They should buy back the vehicles as they seem to not be able to fix and they are not safe to drive.

On two separate occasions, documented with the dealership, while driving, the Jeep failed to accelerate and instead decelerated. On one occasion, this occurred while I was in a single lane on ramp merging onto a highway and reached approximately 45mph. On a separate occasion, I was just pulling out of my subdivision and reaching approximately 30-35 mph when the same issue occurred. Both times, I pulled the vehicle to the side of the road as best as possible, and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle often fails to turn off, as it should. The vehicle has also failed to turn on as it should. The center screen turned off for a full trip. There is only approximately 15k miles on this 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The dealership most recently had the vehicle for 6 days but could not replicate the problem in 30 miles and there were no stored error codes besides two related to the radio generated by the HVAC module and the BCM module. An arbitrator found: Although the Customer had established proof of a nonconformity that could substantially impair the safety of the vehicle, I find that there have not been an unreasonable number of repair attempts nor days out of service. I have received three vehicle recalls warning of vehicle fire that have no known recall repair for months.

Received third notification of recall for the vehicle that I purchased from Don Jackson Jeep Cummings, GA on March 2024 by NHTSA. The first two recall warnings were 68C and 78C that Jeep stated was remedy via software. Software cannot guarantee that no electrical battery nor engine/transmission issue b/c the check engine light came on and vehicle kept at JEEP Morrow dealership for approximately 6 weeks. Notified approximately June 20, 2026, of third recall 26V363. I have requested and had several cases open with Jeep Customer Care requesting a buyback or trade in assistance due to negative equity in the vehicle due to uncertain of fire safety issue and concern that could potentially affect the general public, neighbors, daughter, self, and dwellings (e.g. home and community). The vehicle makes loud sounds, smell like smoke due to electrical fire, decrease in speed during acceleration, etc. Constant fear of family, neighbors, public safety, and self. "Begging" Jeep Customer Care to help me transition into another safe vehicle. Constantaly met with opposition and excuses like being told by two different managers (Darrel and Michael) that they have the final decision and no one that I can escalate my legitimate complaint. Requested in writing several times from Jeep customer care to put in writing why I am not eligible for a buyback, trade in assistance, help with negative equity, etc. No response. Cases closed. Due to the multiple recalls on Jeep 200-2024 wranglers for fire safety issues and no guarantee that a fire nor transmission or motor issues will occur, requesting NHTSA mandate that Stellantis remove these vehicle off the road and recall all these vehicles and make each customer who purchased these dangers vehicles whole instead of investing 71 billion dollars to revamp a company. Start with removing the vehicle that they knew had these issues into the market for the general public to purchase before someone gets serious injured and/or killed.

Unsure of the part or system that failed, however the auxiliary battery and power distribution system part was replaced previously and did not correct the problem. My safety was at risk when the speed and steering were affected. An independent service center worked on it and reproduced it. The car electronic system went through every warning light system while driving. "Stop/start not ready", "engine light", "airbag light", "service electronic stability control", SERV 4WD, ABS, BRAKE, "service airbag system", tire pressure monitoring, seatbelt light, "speed control messaging unavailable service required", and gas light all came on while driving. Speed was reduced and steering wheel locked up and released several times during the event.

I own a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JKU with approximately 67,000 miles. The vehicle has experienced a failure involving the ABS control module and related braking/stability systems. Current symptoms include: * ABS warning light illuminated * Brake warning light illuminated * Traction control warning light illuminated * Intermittent speedometer malfunction * Brake pedal occasionally vibrates and becomes soft during operation * Vehicle hesitates for several seconds when accelerating from a stopped position while dashboard warning lights flash The vehicle has been diagnosed by two separate Jeep repair facilities as having a failed ABS control module. I have been informed that replacement ABS modules for this vehicle have been unavailable for approximately nine months and remain unavailable as of today. This appears to be a widespread issue affecting Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles, with many owners reportedly unable to obtain replacement safety-critical ABS modules through Mopar or dealership networks. Because the ABS and traction/stability systems are malfunctioning, the vehicle cannot pass inspection and is unsafe for my family of four, especially during rain or emergency braking situations. This issue affects federally mandated vehicle safety systems, including anti-lock braking and electronic stability control. Owners should not be left without access to replacement parts for critical safety equipment for extended periods of time.
