The IPC Cluster stopped working and the screen is completely blank. It is unsafe to drive since I don’t know how fast I’m going, how much gas is in the tank, and inability to see any warning lights. The recall for this is Recall Campaign 30B/NHTSA 24-V 652 for jeeps with the 3.5 inch cluster layout, which I have but my VIN is not listed on the recall list. It should be!

Acceleration lag: either bucking or temporary loss of motive power when attempting to pull into traffic has almost caused us to be hit several times. We had the problem almost immediately after purchase, but the lag was short and the Jeep would leap forward and back tires would squeal which caused the back tires to wear quickly compared to front. The bucking and loss of power while accelerating became dangerous after I took to the dealership in Feb 2026 when they also did recall 68C related to the battery. We stopped charging it completely and still had the issue. Took back to the dealership in March 2026 and they said they could not replicate issue. Tried to schedule an appt last week and they never got back to me. We have avoided several accidents so far but I am now afraid to drive it. Assuming these are unrelated but just in case: at 10k miles the check engine light came on, and I couldn’t add ANY fuel (automatic shut off happened immediately) and the fuel cap wouldn’t open. Foss Motors wrote: "CHECKED FOR CODES IN SYSTEM. VEHICLE HAD CODES P2451 FUEL TANK ISOATION VALVE A STUCK, PO4EC EVAP SYSTEM LARGE LEAK DETECTED AND P04EE EVAP SYSTEM SMALL LEAK DETECTED. PERFORMED EVAP SYSTEM SMALL LEAK VERIFICATION TEST. TEST EVAP SYSTEM AND FOUND ISOLATION VALVE STICKING. COMPLETED REPLACEMENT OF ISOLATION VALVE. Replaced fuel filler tube 68413327AD and 68412848AC fuel cap." In Sept 2025 (~45k miles) - Check engine light came on again soon after with errors: PO4EC EVAP SYSTEM LARGE LEAK DETECTED and P04EE EVAP SYSTEM SMALL LEAK DETECTED. They could not find leak or issue.

The manufacturer has issued a 'Do Not Drive' / 'Park Outside' advisory, deeming the vehicle unsafe for operation. The Safety Defect: The vehicle poses an immediate fire hazard while charging or driving due to battery failure. Manufacturer Failure: Despite acknowledging the safety defect, Stellantis (Jeep) and the authorized dealer (Jerry V's Windward Hawaii Kaneohe Jeep) have refused to provide a loaner vehicle or direct-bill rental coverage. They insist on out-of-pocket reimbursement only, which I cannot afford. Impact: I am left without safe transportation for a known life-safety defect. The manufacturer is failing to remedy the safety issue within a reasonable time as required by federal law, leaving me stranded and at risk. Vehicle total power loss while driving on the freeway, UNKNOWN cause. Vehicle will not turn off or turn on, shift gear locked. Seem to be a system communication between battery, transmission, ecu. Major safety risk while driving on the 3rd lane on the freeway driving 65mph with other vehicles around then sudden loss of power unable to accelarate. Was able to safely move to the shoulder and contacted AAA for towing to nearest dealership. Loss power and battery issues ongoing with same type model and year No other messages or symptoms prior to the problem occuring.

As I was driving a service electronic stability control came up on my dash and I lost control of the vehicle. The brakes did not work and it was hard to steer. I almost hit a vehicle and the Jeep kept rolling until it stopped. Then I received an alert that the brakes did system, anti lock brake system, and Electronic Stability System failure. This is very scary my vehicle is a lease and they say they are fixing it but I’m very scared I will lose control of my Jeep while I’m driving.

During a routine maintenance visit, a pre-purchase/general inspection was performed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler, which documented the front axle and differential housing as intact and in one piece. Subsequent to that inspection, while the vehicle was undergoing service, it was discovered that the front axle housing bracket on the driver’s side had fractured and separated from the frame mount. Upon inspection of the fractured surface, the break exhibits oxidation (rust) at the fracture point itself, indicating the crack had been forming and propagating over time rather than resulting from a single acute impact or event. This suggests a pre-existing metal fatigue or corrosion-related structural weakness in the front axle housing bracket assembly that was not visually detectable during a standard inspection prior to full separation. Given that this is a structural component connecting the front axle/differential to the vehicle frame, a full separation of this type could result in loss of vehicle control, particularly under steering or load stress, and poses a significant safety risk. The vehicle is approximately 9 years old with 90,000 miles, and this type of structural failure at this age/mileage is a concern for other owners of similar model year Wranglers. I am filing this report to make NHTSA aware of this failure mode in case it represents a broader pattern in 2017 (and potentially adjacent model year) Jeep Wranglers.

I own a 2024 Jeep with approximately 44,000 miles. The dealership diagnosed a failed engine motor mount and quoted approximately $1,200 for the repair. I am concerned because the motor mount failed at relatively low mileage without any accident, misuse, or other known cause. When I asked the dealership why it failed, I was told there was “no reason” and that “it just happens.” They were unable to provide any additional explanation. I also asked whether there were any Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) related to this issue and whether the repair should be covered under my remaining powertrain warranty. I was told the motor mount was not covered, but I was not given a clear explanation or shown the specific warranty exclusion. My concern is that a failed motor mount can allow excessive engine movement, which may affect vehicle operation, damage other components, or create a safety risk if it occurs while driving. I am submitting this complaint so the issue can be documented and investigated to determine whether this is a broader defect affecting similar vehicles.

While on the way to work going about 60 mph my car came to a complete stop with a semi behind me. By the grace of God I was able to start it in time. It happened atleast 9 other times since then. Jeep has been made aware and when I went for the recall I asked if that was a symptom they said no but this happens a lot. Didn’t put it on the report. I have kids and family members who have been in my car when it happens and refuses to get in. It just shuts down without warning and on the display shows P Instead of D flashing. I want to return this car and have been risking my life and my families life every single time I drive it.

My cat makes a strange loud noise when it starts up and begins driving. It also smells like smoke but none is seen. My daughter first noticed the smell and now ever since I got the engine recall done the sound is very loud and the smell of smoke persists. This is not normal or safe. The recalls being done are not fixing the problem and I would rather return a car that is not safe for my family! I cannot keep myself financially obligated to something that can kill myself or worse my children! Do something NOW!!!!

The ABS control module has internal problem which shuts down the module. Results of the module shut down includes: -The stability and traction systems are offline. -A failure in the ABS module or hydraulic unit. -Cruise Control inoperable. -The module no longer modulates brake pressure, which can result in brakes locking. Currently, Mopar has stopped production of this item, so there is no method to replace a failed or non-working module with an original part.

My jeep bricked and would would not move. I reset uconnect to get it to my house and had it towed to the dealership. They performed a temporary fix. However, since 10/2026 there has been no final fix. I’m not sure how safe I am to drive this car I spent $63,000 on or how long is reasonable for a fix.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe has been subject to four safety recalls in the ten months I have owned it, three involving vehicle fire risk: 56C/25V-527 (TPMS, completed), 68C/25V-741 (high-voltage battery cell separator damage/fire risk, completed), 78C/25V-766 (casting sand contamination of the engine), and 21D/26V-363 (electric hydraulic power steering pump overheating/fire risk). Recall 78C was announced November 6, 2025, warning that my engine may be contaminated with casting sand and may suffer catastrophic engine failure, a vehicle fire, or an unexpected and unrecoverable loss of propulsion. More than eight months later, no remedy has been performed on my vehicle and the recall remains open. Recall 21D is also open, with FCA instructing me to park outside and away from structures because the vehicle may catch fire even while parked with the ignition off. Under recall 68C I was previously instructed not to charge the vehicle.

The failure occurred immediately after the vehicle received the manufacturer's Safety Recall 68C / NHTSA Campaign Number 24V-814 software update. The software flash completely 'bricked' the high-voltage battery system, induced an immediate vehicle shutdown, and stripped all hybrid propulsion. This defect created an immediate and severe highway safety hazard, rendering the vehicle entirely inoperable on the spot. The manufacturer is currently replacing the defective hardware with an identical physical battery cell structure, which fails to permanently resolve the underlying thermal fire risk and recurring safety hazard."

how this vehicle has not been recalled is hard to comprehend how can no one care about safety ? I purchased (8/24)this vehicle used from Carvana. Since then I have had issues first the jeep death wobble (google it we’ll know to keep general public and i am certain you) When the vehicle reaches speeds over 55mph it shakes uncontrollably feels like vehicle is going to fall into pieces on the road hard to control immediately must slow down. The vehicle then has had countless battery recalls and still no fix. I am a mailman I work very hard for my money. I was hoping to save money with gas by plugging in vehicle but because of warnings from jeep I am unable to do that. The vehicle has so many known issues the price has plummeted. The vehicle because of this no one will take on trade or cannot be sold. How a company can get away with this is hard to understand please restore my confidence for consumers please

I am filing this safety complaint regarding my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Altitude. The vehicle is experiencing a fuel gauge/fuel reading malfunction. The gauge does not accurately reflect the amount of fuel in the vehicle, which creates a serious safety concern because the vehicle may run out of fuel unexpectedly while being operated on public roads. This defect places me and other drivers at risk, especially if the vehicle stalls in traffic, on a highway, or in an unsafe location. I leased this vehicle in April 2023. I have only put 23,000 miles on it and have only had it serviced by the dealership. Months after the start of my lease I experienced the Jeep Death Wobble at speeds in excess of 70 mph with my newborn son in the car. Never having even heard of it, I am extremely lucky that I maintained composure and did not crash. I took the car to the dealership who claimed they repaired in accordingly under my warranty. Since then the death wobble has returned 3 additional times for a total of 4 times in 3 years (the most recent being 6 months ago) with again only 23,000 miles on the car. Each time I have taken the car to the dealership and they have claimed to have repaired the issue. For the past 3 years, I have been plagued with sheer anxiety every time my vehicle goes over 55 mph, never knowing when the wobble will return but always assuming correctly that it will and it has. This is a known issue that I believe has not been able to be directly attributed to crashed because the outcome relies significantly on the drivers reaction to the problem. Had I not remained calm or made any sudden movements with my car each time that this happened, it easily could have been 4 crashes. Multiply that by how many people I know who have or are experiencing this issue and its crazy that Jeep is allowed to continue operating like this.
