Multiple times this has happened when I engaged in reverse the screen will be blank and can't see anything. It will take a couple of times of driving, parking and turning on and off the truck before it turns back on. This is a major safety concern as i can not see anything as i reverse. This does not happen every time but does happen often. I haven't had it checked out professionally because it hasn't been permanent but I do have Multiple videos of the problem recurring that I can send.

VISIBILITY/WIPER

The outside ambient temperature sensor on my 2025 Ram 1500 is fundamentally flawed by design, routinely reading 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than the actual external temperature due to solar soaking inside the driver-side mirror housing. While this appears to be a convenience issue, it creates a direct driver safety hazard. Because this sensor feeds critical ambient data to the vehicle's computer modules, its extreme inaccuracy directly disrupts the automated climate control safety systems. During near-freezing or sudden inclement weather conditions, the vehicle's automated windshield defroster, cabin defogger, and heated side-view mirrors fail to automatically trigger or adjust correctly because the truck falsely believes it is much warmer outside than it actually is. This causes sudden, severe windshield fogging and ice buildup that reduces driver visibility. The manufacturer needs to issue a technical service bulletin, a software recalculation, or a physical sensor relocation kit to resolve this systemic safety defect.

Windshield wipers turned on by themselves and will not turn off, odometer is flashing, service airbag message on dash and airbag warning light flashing on dash and blinkers do not work. Stellantis cannot fix the problem and refuse to take truck back. Truck only has 3100 miles on it. Truck has been at Charlevoix Auto Ram Dealership Service since June 1, 2026. Multiple cases have been opened with auto manufacturer by dealership and us, the owner. Auto manufacturer will not buy back vehicle and put us new vehicle. We hadn't had vehicle for 3 months when this happened.

The contact owns a 2020 Ram 1500. The contact stated that there was water leaking from the rear window of the vehicle. The contact referenced Technical Service Bulletin: 23-098-23, detailing a crack in the rear window near the third brake light that could allow water to enter the vehicle on the left and right sides. The contact confirmed that the vehicle had experienced leaks on both sides. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be repaired under the TSB; however, the dealer declined to repair the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle met the mileage requirements, but the dealer stated that the vehicle was not included in the TSB. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 115,000.

The back passenger window behind the driver shattered while I was in the vehicle. Window shattered from inside out no previous damage to the window , all of sudden it shattered. May daughter’s car seat is on that side luckily she was not hurt because she wasn’t in the vehicle at the time. But to think that she could have been because I was , I had just parked and the window directly behind me sounded like it exploded. RAM manufacturer does not want to take responsibility for this safety issue that is 100% a safety concern.

My sun visors on both the driver and passenger side have fallen down numerous times. When they fall they end up dangling in front of my eyes (more so of course the driver's sun visor). In addition it is an instantaneous alarming moment and when in busy traffic and all of a sudden this suddenly happens and I cannot see it becomes dangerous. I have found out talking to my dealer and online that this is a very common problem on the 5th generation Ram 1500 pickups.

VISIBILITY/WIPER

Driver's side visor fails to stay in place in the ceiling when moving it from front windshield to door window, then after several movements, will fall out of place in the roof into the driver's view without warning obstructing view while driving or startling the driver which could cause an accident. The visor has been replaced once, from the same issue and is now having the same issue again. The visor is available for inspection and still has the issue. The dealer knows there is a problem and has given me a number to order a third visor. This all happens without warning and always while the vehicle is in motion.

2025 RAM 1500 Houston, TX

VISIBILITY/WIPER

The factory-installed tow mirrors on this vehicle present a severe safety hazard due to a major engineering and ergonomic design flaw. The physical size and placement of the side mirrors are excessively large, creating massive blind spots at the front pillars of the windshield. This completely obstructs the driver's forward-diagonal visibility, creating a "blind wall" effect that fully hides oncoming mid-size sedans, motorcycles, and pedestrians when approaching urban intersections, roundabouts, and crosswalks. This layout is entirely unsuitable for normal daily use and causes extreme driver distress due to near-miss situations. Additionally, the advanced safety electronics housed within these mirrors malfunction constantly. The Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) warning lights freeze or lock up on the glass, or the dashboard displays a permanent "Blind Spot System Unavailable" error message shortly after starting the vehicle or deploying the power-folding mirrors. The 360-degree perimeter camera feed also experiences intermittent signal loss. The hardware components are available for inspection upon request. The electrical faults have been confirmed by an authorized dealer but a permanent design fix for the forward visibility hazard is required from the manufacturer.

The leather-wrapped dashboard on my 2021 Ram 1500 is bubbling and delaminating on both the driver and passenger sides. The material is lifting and separating from the base, creating glare and reflections that impair forward visibility while driving. It also raises potential concerns with passenger airbag deployment due to the distorted/bubbling surface over the airbag module area. This is a widespread known defect on 2019–2021 RAM trucks with leather dashboards. I have an open case with Ram Customer Care (#96620269) where only partial coverage was offered. Attached are photos showing the bubbling/delamination on both sides. This defect affects safe vehicle operation. Please investigate.

On [XXX] at around [XXX] I was driving my daughter to her dentist appointment on the [XXX] . I was on a phone call with my wife and suddenly the rear driver side windshield explodes with a loud pop. I was driving 55mph, scared, confused, and nearly crashed my vehicle. I got off the freeway and took photos of the window. The break in the window is unique as the 4 corners of glass are broken along with the center of the glass. It appears the frame of the glass was applying too much pressure and squeezed it out. There is an online petition for other owners that have experienced the same incident with their 2022 RAM [XXX] . SEVERE SAFETY HAZARD: CASCADING ELECTRICAL FIRE RISK. My 2019 Ram 1500 suffered a catastrophic electrical failure while driving. The alternator's voltage regulator melted, overcharging the system and causing the battery to boil and vent toxic sulfuric acid fumes into the cabin, creating an immediate respiratory and fire hazard. This is the direct result of Manufacturer Defect XL1/XG1 (Rear Window Leak). I have physical dealer records proving Westgate Ram held this vehicle for 19 days in Aug 2022 to fix Water Leak Code 09H2OLEAK. They returned the vehicle claiming it was fixed, but I have geolocated photos showing the window leaking heavily just 17 days later. Because the leak was never resolved, water continuously entered the rear cabin, corroding the RF Hub and creating a parasitic drag that destroyed the electrical grid. CRITICAL NEGLIGENCE: On June 1, 2026, Stellantis Corporate (Case XXX) acknowledged the severity of the fire risk by immediately inquiring if Emergency Services had been contacted, yet subsequently refused to offer a safety tow. When I attempted to escalate, their agents [XXX] , [XXX] , [XXX] , [XXX] ) refused to provide IDs. Furthermore, my phone number is now being rejected by their system; calls to their support line immediately fail or disconnect, leaving a fire-risk vehicle stranded at my residence with no recourse. Per Warranty Bulletin D-23-17 from Mopar, I have a 2019 RAM 1500 that has the EXACT issue that MOPAR has outlined where the Power Sliding Rear window - also known as the Backlite - has a cracked frame. My vehicle has been sitting for 3 1/2 weeks at the dealership as the vehicle's rear window is leaking into the vehicle's interior and RAM/Stellanis/Mopar is not providing an update on covering the extended warranty for this manufacturing defect. A supervisor I spoke with on 5/7/26 last week at RAM confirmed that my vehicle does have the Rear Sliding Rear window addressed in this bulletin and in addition the dealership the vehicle is at has also confirmed the vehicle has the same issue with the cracked frame they've seen many times before and repaired under warranty. They are also requesting MOPAR to cover this. My vehicle is only 6 1/2 years old and well under the 8 year/150k mile extension they are providing this fix for. I have a case I opened with them which they are not doing anything to cover this with: XXX- with [XXX] . INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
